Public interest research group (formally known as Public Interest Research Group in Michigan) concerned with such issues as consumer rights, environmental policy, and world hunger.

The record group includes histories; minutes and correspondence; and posters, handbills and announcements; and papers relating to the dispute over how the organization should be funded.
