Lucinda Hinsdale Stone (1814-1900) was a Kalamazoo, Michigan, activist, educator, feminist, and writer who supported the abolition of enslaved persons, coeducation, education for women, and women's suffrage. She also founded and/or supported numerous Michigan women's study clubs and organizations. Stone's advocacy work also resulted in the enrollment of female students at the University of Michigan, which began in 1870.
