Allie Fayz is a former board member of the Islamic Center of America. The collection documents the Islamic Center of America’s history, administrative services, and community activities and consists primarily of correspondence, by-laws and amendments, board minutes, committee notes, donation pledges, membership lists, photographs, newspaper clippings, and financial statements and reports.

The Allie Fayz papers are organized into two series: Islamic Center of America and Other Papers. American Council on Alcohol Problems Records, 1883-2015 (majority within 1920s-1960s)

Formerly the Anti-Saloon League of America. Correspondence, reports, minutes, legal files, speeches by temperance leaders, bills relating to the prohibition question; papers (1934-1956) concerning National Temperance and Prohibition Council; pamphlets relating to temperance; and photographs.

The records are primarily of the Office of General Counsel and Legislative Superintendent of the Anti-Saloon League of America (1883-1933). Additionally, there are later materials (1934-1969) of the organization following the repeal of the prohibition amendment. The record group consists of seven feet of correspondence, reports, speeches and legal files.

Ann Arbor Street Art Fair records, 1960-2005 (majority within 1968-2005)

Corporation administering the summer juried art fair in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The art fair is the oldest of three fairs that comprise the annual Ann Arbor art fairs. Minutes, bylaws, financials, and other materials relating to the administration of the art fair; also press materials, artists' evaluations, scrapbooks documenting development and history of the fair, and photographs and slides of the fair and the work of the artists.

The records of the Ann Arbor Street Art Fair document the origins and development of the art fair from a small fair designed to promote business on South University avenue to one of the nation's premier, juried street art fairs. The documentation includes administrative records, correspondence, photographs, scrapbooks, posters, flyers and promotional material. The record group is divided into three series: Board and Committee Records, Other Materials, and Visual Materials.

Also contains bulletin from summer session. There are also programs which describe the U.S.- Japan Automotive Industry Conference. Also includes a monograph from the Series Michigan Papers in Japanese Studies

The Publications series (.5 linear foot) consists of two subseries: Unit Publications and Sub-Unit Publications.

The Unit Publications series contains brochures, bulletins and course catalogs, calendars, catalogs of publications, flyers announcing lectures and mini-courses, lectures, manuals, posters describing the noon lecture series, press releases featuring Japanese film festivals, programs from the U.S.--Japan Automotive Industry Conference, and reports. The Center for Japanese Studies publishes a monograph series entitled the Michigan Papers in Japanese Studies. The Bentley Historical Library holds only one volume in this series-- Is There Enough Business To Go Around?: Overcapacity In The Auto Industry, number 16. It will be found under the heading "Monographs".

This subseries also includes a newsletter entitled Newsletter. The fall issue of this publication is published in both English and Japanese. The Bentley Historical Library holds a complete run of this publication from 1990 to the present. Prior to this publication the Center for Japanese Studies issued a newsletter, entitled CCS-CJS News, with the Center for Chinese Studies. This title was published from 1983 to 1989 at varying intervals. They also published the CCS-CJS News Update from 1986 to 1988. This was generally a monthly newsletter describing the various activities of the centers. For these newsletters and other publications about the Asian and East Asian Studies Programs the researcher should consult: the record group University of Michigan. Center for Chinese Studies. There is also one issue of the newsletter entitled CJS Alumni News. This publication was published in 1981.

The Sub-Unit Publications subseries includes publications regarding the fiftieth anniversary celebration and the Summer Session.

Program Director at the Ark, Ann Arbor, Michigan music club. The collection includes the Ark's financial records and select correspondence, printed materials such as concert calendars, flyers, and posters, sound recordings, photographs of Ark performances, informal snapshots and publicity photos of performers.

The Dave Siglin papers date from 1968-2008 and primarily document Siglin's management role at the Ark, an Ann Arbor music club. The papers have been arranged into four series: Administrative Records; Printed Materials; Photographs; Sound Recordings.

The Eclipse Jazz records include photographs, sound records of the various lectures and concerts, posters and flyer notices of concerts, and miscellaneous administrative materials, such as grant applications, correspondence, and newsletters of their activities.

Lithographer, professor of art at the University of Michigan. Exhibition catalogs, publications containing reproductions of his work, pricelists, miscellaneous correspondence and clippings; and photographs.

The Weddige papers consist of various materials documenting his personal and professional life. Included are exhibition catalogs and reproductions of Weddige's work appearing on greeting cards and other publications. There are also many photographs of Weddige at work in his studio, at exhibitions, and with friends and family. The bulk of the documents relates to the period of 1985 to 1999. A small portion of the collection dates from his childhood and high school years.

Euline McCorkle Taratsas Papers, 1951-2001 (majority within 1972-1993)

A polio survivor, Taratsas worked on behalf of people with disabilities and contributed to many advocacy organizations, particularly the National Association for the Physically Handicapped, the Physically Impaired Association of Michigan, and the Ann Arbor Center for Independent Living. Biographical/personal materials includes interview, correspondence, and photographs; files relating to her organizational affiliations; subject files pertaining to her advocacy work; and collected scrapbooks of photographs and memorabilia of polio survivors at University Hospital of the University of Michigan, 1951-1964.

The Euline McCorkle Taratsas Papers document her active role in the disability rights movement, on a local, regional and national level. The papers are organized into three series: Biographical/Personal, Advocacy for People with Disabilities, and Scrapbooks and Collected Materials.
