The Polish American files include items collected by Binkowski on Polish American organizations, Polonia and the Polish American community in Detroit, Polish politicians in Michigan, and notable members of the Polish community including Stanislaw Rys. Of note is a file on Ted Kaczynski, known as the "Unabomber," containing correspondence between Binkowski and Kaczynski. The series also includes collections on Polish churches in Detroit.
