The Director's Files (Liz Boyd) subseries contains newspaper clippings, speeches, transcripts for radio addresses, and audio-visual materials (photographs, sound recordings, and videos). Many of the audio-visual materials are available online, including Granholm's State of the State speeches for 2007-2010.
Visual Materials
The Visual Materials subgroup includes photographs, color transparencies, caricatures and drawings, films, and videotapes documenting all phases of Williams life and career, but with an emphasis on his years as governor and Undersecretary of State for African Affairs. Owing both to the way in which the collection was received and the manner in which it was initially processed, the visual materials were arranged and described separately from the paper records. The subgroup is arranged in series based on format.
