Ann Arbor, Michigan, women's organization formed to provide friendship and assistance to foreign women visitors to Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan. Minutes, reports, bulletins and newsletters, slide presentations, and other materials relating to their activities.

The records of the International Neighbors document the activities, services, and organization of the International Neighbors. It is significant for showing the development of a community organization to satisfy needs of foreign women in Ann Arbor and for revealing social interactions among American and foreign women. The record group is organized into three series: Administrative Files, Activities, and Publications.

Minutes, financial records, annual convention reports, and scrapbooks, primarily of the Whatsoever Circle of Mount Clemens, Michigan.

The records of the Macomb County Branch are made up of minutes documenting the activities and finances. The Whatsoever Circle is the best documented of the Mount Clemens Circles, running from the founding in 1891, through 1957. Other records include minutes from the City Union and The Board of Trustees. A scrapbook documents activities from 1901 through 1957, through clippings, brochures and letters.

The records of the Michigan Branch of the International Order of the King's Daughters and Sons have come to the library in multiple accessions. The record group is comprised of the following series: Minutes, Financial Records, Organizational Leadership Membership, Camp Missaukee, Conventions, Service and Ministry Activities, Background and Published Material, County Branches, Photographs, and Scrapbooks.

Minutes, group records, and other records

The records of the Phoebe Beal Circle of the International Order of the King's Daughters and Sons measures 2.0 linear feet. The records, dating from 1911 to 1994, have been arranged into four series - Printed Material, Minutes, Group Records, and Other Records.

International fraternal temperance lodge. Records of the National Grand Lodge and local lodges in Illinois, New York and Washington (including numerous Scandinavian-American lodges) containing correspondence, minute books, financial ledgers, scrapbooks, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, proceedings, and periodicals; also photographs.

Although the record group does include some correspondence, the bulk of the records consist of minute books and financial ledgers, mainly from the 1880s up to 1920. Many of these are for lodges in Illinois and Washington State. In addition, there are published materials, such as temperance books, pamphlets, and issues of periodicals. The proceedings of annual meetings are from many more states and provide detailed information on the national importance of the organization. The photographs are mainly of various group meetings.

The record group also includes publications of the National Archive of Computerized Data on Aging, National Archive of Criminal Justice Data, and National Institute of Justice. The Publications are divided into two series: Unit Publications and Sub-Unit Publications.

Research consortium based at University of Michigan that acquires, preserves and disseminates computerized social science research data. ICPSR records include administrative files, grant files and documentation of the institute's educational activities. The research data files are maintained and serviced by ICPSR.

The records of the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research document the development, primary functions, and activities of the ICPSR. The records hold significance in documenting scientific cooperation among international research institutions. The records detail the history of technology, educational partnerships, computer-readable data sharing, and social science disciplines. The record group is divided into six series: Organization and Administration, Meetings, Individual Council Chairs' Papers, Resource Development and Services, Grants and Project Proposals, and Educational Activities.

The Inventors Council of Michigan, chaired by J. Downs Herold, was founded in 1983 to provide assistance and support to Michigan inventors. Originally a not-for-profit organization, it was operated by the Industrial Development Division of the Institute of Science and Technology of the University of Michigan. Meeting minutes, newsletters and correspondence with inventors primarily documenting the organization's early years as a nonprofit organization.

The records of INCOM document the activities of INCOM and its services during its initial years as a nonprofit organization. The records include such types of materials as meeting minutes, newsletters, and correspondence with inventors. The folder "Transition to Private Sector" documents INCOM's decision to move from the public to the private sector in 1988.
