The papers of Leroy Waterman (1875-1972) consist of five linear feet of correspondence, diaries, lecture notes, research notes, speeches, essays, photographs, news clippings, and other materials. The collection has been arranged into seven series: Biographical/personal; Correspondence; Diaries; Lectures, Essays, Speeches, Publications; Archaeological Expeditions; Organizational Affiliations; and Miscellaneous.

Weech describing conditions in England during World War II. The Unpublished writings includes the manuscript of his unpublished book, "Immigrant Michigan," with sections on transportation, newspapers ,pioneer life, and immigration. There are also manuscript of articles and notes on various topics. The photographs are of nineteenth century homes, farms, and businesses in various Michigan communities. There is also a photograph of a bust of Goodrich sculpted by Carlton Angell.

The Robert Crouse papers consist of Civil War Era correspondence, including letters from soldiers describing camp life and other war-time activities. There is also letters received from businessmen in Michigan and New York state relating to business transactions. These letters date from the 1850s and 1860. Finally, the papers include business invoices and express and railroad receipts.
