The records of the Office of International Programs document the development and administration of the University of Michigan's travel abroad and foreign study programs and the content of the program at various sites, particularly Florence, Paris, Aix-en-Provence, London, and Freiburg. Records include committees minutes, correspondence, curricular records, syllabi and student evaluations of the program.

A semi-independent agency of the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan, 1948 to 1967, with a mission of establishing a lay ministry and connect religion to the daily activities of life. Records include correspondence, administrative files, publications and photographs.

The Parishfield record group, divided into ten series, documents one attempt within the Episcopal Church "to develop and promote the lay ministry through Christian experience." (Background series). The record group, in sum, concerns Parishfield as a training center for those who wanted to increase their effectiveness as Christians in understanding the issues of the day and the role that they as Christians should have in resolving societal problems. The series within the record group and the materials themselves - correspondence, meeting minutes, published matter, photographs, and other materials - document each of the four phases of the community's life. The grouping of materials into series largely reflects the Parishfield staff's concern to preserve the record of what they had accomplished.

William R. Ringer was a student at the University of Michigan Law School from 1920 to 1922. Collection consists of three volumes of detailed diary entries interspersed with ephemera collected while a student.

The William R. Ringer papers document his time as a law student at the University of Michigan from September 1920 to June 1922. The papers are organized into two series Diaries and Background.

Universal Hagar’s Spiritual Church was founded by Father George W. Hurley in 1923 in order “to promote the study of the science, phenomena and philosophy of spiritual religion” and is based in Detroit. The record group includes some material from the early years of the church’s operation, but with the bulk of the records documenting church activities after the year 2000.

The record group is arranged in three series: Background, Church Activities, and Publications.

Minutes, annual reports, presidents' letters, legislative programs, issue files concerning its involvement with such issues as child welfare, civil service, the Constitutional Convention of 1961-1962, election law reform, environmental quality, fair employment practices, human resources, reapportionment, taxation, and voters services; also include records of local branches.

The Michigan League of Women Voters was formed in the early 1920s. The records of the Michigan League of Women Voters cover the period from the 1940s to the 1990s. The issues series document such concerns as environmental quality (air pollution, pesticides, solid waste, and water) as well as human resources (teacher accountability, busing, the Equal Rights Amendment, housing, and social services). There are also large portions of material on taxation, reapportionment, international relations, election law reform, and on the Michigan Constitutional Convention of 1961-1962.

Each local chapter of the LWV was required to send its annual reports to the state league. These reports summarized special programs, membership, and financial information. These, as well as correspondence, by-laws, and in some cases, minutes, bulletins, special reports, and voters guides reflect the concerns and issues which confronted the league on the local level.

In many cases local leagues were disbanded because of lack of interest or because the members joined with other local leagues. These discontinued leagues have been designated by the word defunct after their name. Individuals interested in the Farmington leagues should also consult the material under the heading of West Bloomfield - Farmington. Huntington Woods and Lathrup Village joined the league of Ferndale and Pleasant Ridge. For those interested in the League of Women Voters in the Upper Peninsula consult the local league series under each community as well as the heading of Copper Country.

The Right to Decency organization was centered in Macomb County, Michigan, and was dedicated to the elimination of "the vast amount of pornography and obscenity inundating society." The record group includes correspondence, organizational records, meeting minutes, newsletters, flyers, articles, and recordings regarding the activities and administration of the organization.

Lansing area chapter of national non-profit organization established to promote health and well-being of gays, lesbians, and bisexuals and their families and friends. Records include background information; administrative files; topical files detailing activities of the chapter; scanned photographic images; and a videocassette.

The records of the Lansing Area Chapter of PFLAG, 1972-1995 (.75 linear ft.) document the founding, administration and programs of the Lansing chapter of a national organization that provides service and support to gays, lesbians, and bisexuals and their families and friends. The records have been organized into four series: Background and History, 1972-1995, Administrative, 1982-1999, Topical Files, 1988-1999, and Audio Visual, 1980s-1996.

University of Michigan organization founded by graduate students in 1902 as the Junior Research Club to promote exchange of ideas among those active in pure or applied scientific investigation. Records document founding and development of the club, include club histories, minute books, financial records, membership statistics ad meeting programs.

The records of the Science Research Club measure 3.75 linear feet. The dates of coverage stretch from 1902 to 2004, with the bulk dates covering the years from 1940 to 1988. The records have been divided into six series: Background and Organization; Record Books; Financial Records; Officers and Committees; Programs; and Membership.

Interdenominational church women's organization, formerly known as United Church Women of Ann Arbor. Minutes, reports, yearbooks, scrapbooks, photographs, sound recordings, and other files relating to activities and interests.

The record group begins with a file relating to the organization's history and administrative structure. This is followed by a bound volume containing minutes for the years of 1941 to 1950. The record group is then arranged into yearly files dating from 1950 to 2004. These files include such materials as mimeographed board of directors reports as well as a variety of newsletters, bulletins, and financial reports. An important source of information about the organization is a series of scrapbooks with clippings and some photographs detailing group activities in the period of 1960 to 2001.

Background files with historical information and biographical data on college deans and faculty; chronological files, 1868-1994, including faculty and executive committee minutes, annual reports, and subject files, largely of deans Howard Lewis, Charles H. Stocking, Thomas D. Rowe, and Ara G. Paul; records of Prescott Club, organization of pharmacy students; and photographs.

The College of Pharmacy records (37 linear feet) cover the years 1864-2003, but primarily document the years after 1939. Series include: Background Files, Chronological Files, Photograph / Visual Material Files, Topical Files, Executive Committee, Adjunct and Clinical Faculty Appointments, and Website.

The records were received in a number of accessions beginning in 1955. Additions were received in 1992 (Topical files, 1953-1989), 1995 (Topical files 1972-1992 and Executive Committee files), 2000 (Topical files and Executive Committee), and 2004 (Topical files and Executive Committee) and 2008-2011 (Topical files and Executive Committee). The description of the records in part reflects these accessions.

The 2000 accession includes additions to the Executive Committee Series (1.5 linear feet, 1980-1994) and Topical Files series (5.5 linear feet, 1963-1998). The 2004 accession includes additions to the Executive Committee series (2 linear feet, 1993 -- 1998) and the Topical Files series (2 linear feet, 1971 -- 1999, scattered).
