The National Organization series, has been divided into eight files: Correspondence, Conference Information, Constitutions and Bylaws, Financial Information, Institutional Manuals and Rituals, Membership Information, Newsletters and Reports.

The Correspondence, 1959-1988 (5 folders) is the largest portion in the National Organization series. It contains the Grand Master's correspondence with local chapters, and with other officers of the Grand Chapter. Most of the correspondence regards members' nominations, recommendations, conference announcements and installation of new local chapters. They are important records of the national chapter. The correspondence file is arranged chronologically.

Conference Information, 1958-1980 (2 folders), consists of minutes of the Tau Sigma Delta annual meetings, the American College of Honor Societies and conference announcements. Materials are arranged chronologically.

Constitutions and Bylaws, 1952-1985 (2 folders), includes the constitutions, bylaws and regulations of the Tau Sigma Delta national chapter. Materials in this subseries are arranged chronologically.

The Financial Information file, 1960-1980, consists of annual financial reports, statements and proposed budgets of Tau Sigma Delta. Materials are arranged in a chronological order.

Instruction Manuals and Rituals, 1975-1988 (2 folders), contains manuals for chapter officers and advisors, regarding the rituals of Tau Sigma Delta local chapter initiations. Materials are arranged chronologically.

The Membership Information file, 1963-1980 (1 folder and 1 box), consists of candidate lists, membership lists, lists of faculty advisors, a directory of Tau Sigma Delta (1913-1963), plus a file of membership cards. The file is arranged chronologically (membership cards are arranged in alphabetical order).

Newsletters, 1958-1985 (2 folders) contains the newsletters Archie (Alpha Rho Chi), IRAC (Interfraternity Research and Advisory Council), and Tau Sigma Delta, which was sponsored by the Department of Architecture, University of Kansas, and newspaper clippings. Materials in this file are arranged chronologically.

The file Reports, 1958-1984 (2 folders) consists of bulletins and annual reports from the Grand Scribe, and special reports on the society's "Pass and Fail System," and on eligibility and admissions. It also contains summary reports of the Association of College Honor Societies annual meetings and two ACHS photographs (1971 and 1979). The file is arranged chronologically.
