The series of materials relating to the Home Front is the most substantial series in the collection. There are chronological files dating from 1942 to 1948, except for 1945, the year in which Todd was in the service. These contain some correspondence as well as flyers and political pamphlets, newspaper clippings, and membership lists. The Home Front put out a newsletter, the Home Front Sentinel, of which there are issues for 1942-1943. During much of this period, Gerald Ford was serving in World War II, and there is not a great deal of material on Ford's involvement with the Home Front prior to 1948.
