Several unpublished histories of the College of Engineering and individual departments,as well as a variety of historical notes and documents have been brought together at the beginning of the records to form the Histories series.

The first series, Histories, consists of a history of College of Engineering Department of Geodesy and Surveying, ca. 1930, and brief histories of Camp Davis including a published article.
Histories (1943-1949) consists of several short histories of the Detroit league and of the Michigan Birth Control League.
The Histories/Bylaws series, 1942-1975, includes several articles on the history of public health education at the University of Michigan and a list of items placed in the cornerstone of the School of Public Health Building in 1944. This series also contains the bylaws dealing with the governance of the school and organizational charts detailing the changing departmental and divisional structure over time.
The History series (1955-1985) includes records documenting the admission of the parish to the Diocese of Michigan in 1964, the contents of a scrapbook maintained by the church, and records supporting 20th, 25th, and 30th anniversary celebrations. The scrapbook and anniversary series contain newspaper clippings and photographs.
The series History consists of a brief history of MAHPER compiled in 1962 by the organization itself, a map delineating the six MAHPER districts, and an informational brochure on the purposes of the Association.
The History series includes a brief biography of Henry Russel in various draft forms by a past Henry Russel Lecturer, Dr. Edward H. Kraus. A short biographical sketch of Dr. Kraus is in the same folder (the Edward H. Kraus papers contain further information).
The History series was pulled together from disparate files in the collection to give an overview of the church's evolution and to highlight special events and turning points in its history. It comprises .4 linear feet and includes both folders of loose materials, including various versions of the Constitution and By-Laws, and bound volumes of church records, including early baptisms, marriages, confirmations, burials, and a speech given at the 40th anniversary celebration.
The series History, 1974-1994 (0.1 linear feet), consists of a 1974 handwritten chronology of the AWC, a memo concerning the "Proposed Organizational Structure of Academic Women Committee and Program Format," a summary of meeting topics from 1976 to 1980, notes on the issues and accomplishments of the AWC, a listing of women involved in the group, and a pamphlet issued by the AWC which sets forth the goals of the organization and a list of the co-chairs from 1975 to 1985.
