Minutes of meetings cover the life of the church from its earliest days through 1963 except for a gap between 1894 and 1924. These volumes are detailed and offer significant information regarding activities and commitments made by clergy and church membership in those years.

The Minutes series (5 linear feet) is a complete run of bound minutes of the Administrative, Faculty, and Executive committees for the years 1923-1987. The minutes detail curriculum and program decisions as well as other educational topics. They are a rich source of information on the development of the School of Education.

The Minutes series includes records for both the Collegiate Sorosis and for the Sorosis Club of Michigan. The minutes of Collegiate Sorosis date from 1893 to 1968 with two gaps in the 1920s and 1930s. The minutes of the Sorosis Club of Michigan date from 1950 to 1991 with a gaps from 1958 to 1963 and 1968 to 1986.

The Minutes series (1903-2017)(9 linear feet) contains the minutes of each Board meeting, including meeting agendas and proceedings, as well as supplementary financial reports, correspondence, and attachments discussed during the meetings. Minutes from 1903 to 1945 are bound into four volumes. The remainder of the minutes are foldered by individual meeting. There are no minutes for the years 1946-1949, and only minutes for one meeting in 1970.

Six linear feet of Board documents were added to this series and include additional meeting minutes, correspondence, financial statements, legal documents, publications, and photographs. The items were maintained in their original order reflecting a logical versus chronological pattern.

The Minutes, 1914-2001 (1.0 linear ft.), series contains three forms of information about the society's meetings. Minutes were kept in books and on individual sheets in annual files. Galens also provided typed summaries of minutes from 1914 to 1920. Annual histories in the Histories and Constitutions series fill in gaps in the minutes between 1932 and 1944. The Minutes series, 1922-2007 (5.0 linear feet), includes chronologically arranged minutes of both Faculty Meetings and Advisory Committees covering the periods 1922-1941 and 1984-2007. There is a considerable gap in this series between 1941 and 1984; this may be the result of individual chairs, rather than the department itself, overseeing records. Later minutes also frequently include meeting agendas, notes, handouts from meetings, and other information relating to decision-making at faculty and advisory committee meetings, such as faculty hiring and promotion and course approvals. The minutes of the Advisory Committee occasionally discuss personal matters and are subject to the 30-year personnel record restriction.

The Minutes series (9.0 linear feet) is arranged chronologically and spans the years from 1975 to 2008. The series houses the meeting minutes of the Michigan Student Assembly and its committees. Information within the minutes includes issues discussed by MSA, resolutions adopted, student organizations funded, as well as general business conducted by the assembly. Incorporated within the series is the last semester of minutes generated by MSA's predecessor the Student Government Council. These minutes serve to document the lead up to the government's reorganization.
