Scope and Content:: This collection consists of photographs depicting the construction of the University of Michigan Law School buildings and the University of Michigan Lawyers' Club in 1924. Also shown are Ryan and fellow workmen in Memphis, Tenn.
Biographical / Historical:: John Alfred Ryan was born in Bristol, England in 1878. He immigrated to the United States in 1902 and worked as a window glazier at the University of Michigan during the 1920s.
