N. Harris McClamroch papers, 1967-2017

Professor of aerospace engineering and a professor of electrical engineering and computer science at the University of Michigan. McClamroch served as the chair of the Senate Advisory Committee on University Affairs (SACUA) during the 1980s and the chair of the Department of Aerospace Engineering during the 1990s. Consists of correspondence and reports regarding projects and complications handled by the SACUA. Also included are a memoir, a history of the Department of Aerospace Engineering, and other biographical records.

The N. Harris McClamroch papers contain material from his career at the University of Michigan beginning in 1967 and extends beyond his retirement in 2010. The bulk of the collection consists of administrative documents related to McClamroch's involvement in university matters, and professional organizations. Correspondence sent to and from McClamroch detail the decisions and challenges that were faced by the Senate Advisory Committee on University Affairs during the 1990s.
