The U-M College of Engineering series, 1976-1992 (3.5 lin. ft.) relates to Atkins' early career at the University of Michigan, and is divided into four subseries. The first subseries, Topical, 1976-1992 (1.1 lin. ft.), contains alphabetically arranged subject files related to Atkins's tenure at the College of Engineering. Researchers should note the files named "Chronological Activities" which document Atkins' meetings, trips, talks and social events, arranged chronologically.
