This collection contains correspondence sent by Gilbert Ketcham to his wife, Jean Seeley Ketcham, while he was deployed overseas. The collection also contains additional correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs, and other ephemera collected by Jean Seeley Ketcham during the war.
The majority of correspondence sent by Ketcham to his wife details the course of daily life in Army camps in North Africa and Italy. He regularly reports on films, parties put on by soldiers, meals, trips into cities and towns, and his relationship with other officers.
