The records of the Phoebe Beal Circle of the International Order of the King's Daughters and Sons measures 2.0 linear feet. The records, dating from 1911 to 1994, have been arranged into four series - Printed Material, Minutes, Group Records, and Other Records.

Although the record group does include some correspondence, the bulk of the records consist of minute books and financial ledgers, mainly from the 1880s up to 1920. Many of these are for lodges in Illinois and Washington State. In addition, there are published materials, such as temperance books, pamphlets, and issues of periodicals. The proceedings of annual meetings are from many more states and provide detailed information on the national importance of the organization. The photographs are mainly of various group meetings.

The record group consists of cashbooks and a financial ledger (on microfilm) and a scattering of original materials, including correspondence, minutes of annual meetings, appointment books and newspaper clippings.

The record group also includes publications of the National Archive of Computerized Data on Aging, National Archive of Criminal Justice Data, and National Institute of Justice. The Publications are divided into two series: Unit Publications and Sub-Unit Publications.

The records of the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research document the development, primary functions, and activities of the ICPSR. The records hold significance in documenting scientific cooperation among international research institutions. The records detail the history of technology, educational partnerships, computer-readable data sharing, and social science disciplines. The record group is divided into six series: Organization and Administration, Meetings, Individual Council Chairs' Papers, Resource Development and Services, Grants and Project Proposals, and Educational Activities.
The Interview Materials series is comprised of two subseries: (1) Interviews; (2) Data and Analysis. The Interview subseries contains interview responses and transcripts; Rorschach tests and scoring; some biographical and interview data score sheets; handwritten materials and evaluations; "Trad-Mod" score sheets; and TMS Scale evaluations. Solomon aimed to examine how different generations in China thought about politics, as well as how they dealt with conflict and related to authority figures both within the family structure and in public life. The majority of the materials are written in Chinese, although there are some interview transcriptions, interview analyses, and reports written in English.
The Data and Analysis subseries is comprised primarily of computer data printouts, although the subseries also includes some reports on changing Chinese culture written by Solomon, and a magnetic data tape.
Researchers may find the folder "Interview Materials, General," located in Box 3 of the Interview Materials subseries, helpful in understanding some of the abbreviations used throughout the papers, the reasoning behind the interviews, and how the interviews were written up. Some commonly used acronyms are: "RT," which stands for Rorschach Test; a T or H preceding a number stands for either Taiwan or Hong Kong; "Trad-Mod" stands for "Traditionality - modernity," which was an attitude scale used by Solomon to quantitatively measure degrees "of modernity."
The Interviews series (7.47 GB online) includes full materials from recording sessions conducted by StoryCorps. Each interview consists of a 45 minute sound recording, a transcript (produced by members of Beth Israel), log files that document key points in the conversation and corresponding time stamps, and photographs of the storytellers and interviewers. Every interview was conducted in a group of two to three people with some level of familiarity with each other, recorded by StoryCorps, who processed and compiled all materials accept for the aforementioned transcripts.
The Interviews series includes 101 interviews that Beatrice and Philip Kalisch performed in writing their report arranged in alphabetical order within each box. Each interview is contained in an individual folder. Some interviews were recorded on the five reel-to-reel audiotapes included. Of particular note are three written and one recorded interview with Lucile Petry Leone and one recorded interview with retired Congresswoman Frances Payne Bolton.
